I spy..........

This summer we are going to be seeing these everywhere, the cut off denim skinnies. A lot of us were sporting these last summer however it looks like these are gunna hit the mainstream this summer. These are from all saints and are a respectable £65 however if I was you I would get some scissors to those skinnies that will be hid away over the summer.

A little bit of sunshine and us British are out in shorts and t-shirt but dont forget its march and its still bloody freezing so how about a lovely jacket from all saints for £80 to keep your cockles warm. With its asymmetrical zip, funnel neck and vintage wash it sure is a beauty. YUM!

Drop crouch is coming your way so be sure to grab yourself some as they look sick with some vintage boots. These are £95 from all saints, money well spent if you ask me.

Hello there Topman skinny chinos. Im loving these especially with some boat shoes and zero socks. £50 from Topman.
The Topman EXTREME V!!!! Im loving this however I dunno if the world can handle this much chest. Will look sweet if youve got a sexy chest piece tho but just make sure those nipples dont make a cheeky appearance. You cant go wrong for £7 though!

So the other day I visited the Design Museum in London to have a gander at the brit insurance design awards which showcases the most innovative designs from the past year in seven design categories: architecture, fashion, furniture, graphics, interactive, product and transport.

Anyway the overall winner has not yet been announced however the winner for each category was announced last week on the BBC's culture show. Im sure you'll all be pleased to know that Alexander Mcqueen won the design category for his spring/summer 2010 catwalk show which was streamed live on the internet which is somewhat of a milestone because these very exclusive events are now accessible for everyone to enjoy and not just the fashion elite.

So I watched this fashion show named "Plato's Atlantis" while I was at the museum and I was totally blown away. It has a very sci-fi feel I thought and I love how the models are so unconventional with the crazy hair and implant features on their face while they walk around in a trance like state. I also thought the 2 cameras capturing the on stage action were also fascinating, there movement is very memorizing and they enhance the whole feel of the show. The clothes were obviously incredible and I particularly liked the leg wear about two thirds through that look like some sort of biotic leg.

Check out the video for yourself below, its a must see!!!

Homeless couture

Ok so this isnt very 'Bournemouth Fashion' related ... but this guy surely deserves some sort recognition!
If the homeless dressed anything like this in Bomo ... then I would gladly dive into my Barbour jacket pocket for a copy of 'the big issue'.
Check it out ....

Online communities in China have hailed a homeless man in Ningbo as a new fashion icon, the Independent UK reports. Referred to as "Beggar Prince," the "Handsome Vagabond," and, most commonly, "Brother Sharp," the 5-foot 8-inch, 35-year-old bum with a fondness for discarded women's clothing is now the poster boy for homeless chic style.

A note on a popular Chinese message board site said that Brother Sharp "doesn't really look like a beggar, more like a vagabond. The quality of this person's tops are all not bad, a down jacket, cotton jacket, even a leather jacket inside, and though they're a bit dirty, they're all in good condition, not the kind that beggars find from the trash."

Another post compares his ensembles to this season's Dolce & Gabbana collection with the comment, "Look at him wrinkle his brow...nothing needs to be said...sexy..."

Perhaps he had a past on the runway? No one knows Brother Sharp's actual identity. But he is reported to seem mentally disturbed when spoken to on the street.
